Allocated time: Up to 12 months

Time to complete: Approx. 500-600 hours of learning and assessment activities including placement - individuals with experience or prior qualifications may complete in a shorter time. Study mode: Distance or Class/workshop based (10x workshops with additional activities such as online lectures and readings completed in non-class days).

Placement: Minimum of 120 hours required as per the regulations - generally a single block or one/two days per week - completed towards the end of the qualification. The placement must be in a long day care centre and must cover work with all ages including babies in order to meet the requirements of the course.
